Today I am sitting in a magistrate court hearing (oh man, I’m sure glad I don’t do this everyday…estates and divorces are not pleasant proceedings) and I am disgusted. Why do families fight over their parents’ hard earnings and valuables? It is shameful and my opinion sinful. Is it really worth ruining kinship over…where’s the love?

What happened to Spring........

I thought it was Spring........Today the kids just had to get outside and a little snow didn't bother them. They had a good time making things in the snow, playing with their balls, and jumping on the trampoline. I was inside wishing Spring was really here.

Are you looking for a good book?

If you are looking for a good book to read....here you go. Enchantment by Orson Scott Card is one of my favorites. My husband introduced me to this book to encourage me to read more. I'm not a reader, not because I don't like to; I just like to finish a book within a day or two but I just can't do that - so I don't read. Luckily there are books out there that you just can't put down. Card is one of Mike's favorite authors. I have enjoyed all of Card's books I have read including: Enchantment, The Treasure Box, and Homebody. These books are amazingly good. If you want to learn more about Orson Scott Card and/or his books visit www.hatrack.com.

Yogurt

Gabe has taken a liking to yogurt. Peach is his favorite and he usually will choose this yellow baby spoon to eat it with. He's such a goof. I've mentioned before, he likes to wear hats. I'm glad he picks this one from time to time. It doesn't cover his face like a bucket or basket.

Dancing to Kid Music

Madi likes to listen to "kid music" -nursery rhymes- and dance and sing.
Gabe joins in sometimes.
What do you think about his cool glasses? He chooses to wear them upside down most often.

Having a Good Time

The kids like to play in the ladybug tent from time to time. When we set it up, it usually stays up for a couple of weeks. That way they get their share of fun with it for a while and we can put it away for months.
I'm so anxious for better weather, so the kids aren't cooped up inside much longer.

The season has ended......

The last few weeks have gone by extremely fast. The good news, hockey is officially over and we don't have to put on all that gear again, unless she decides to play again next year. I'm not sure she will be interested in hockey next year, but time will tell. The highlights of the season were: 1)Learning to skate without a bucket 2)Learning to hit a puck 3) Standing up without assistance (Thanks to the "Hot Dog Dance") 4) Dancing on Ice (not part of the game of hockey) 5) Watching the Zamboni cut new ice 6) Choosing her favorite coaches and learning to listen to them 7) After practice treats 8) Receiving a trophy and eating cupcakes. Gabe is going to miss his ring pops.
Lucky 1,2,3 !! Who will it be?? PaY iT FoRwArD!!I found this fun idea on my friend's blog and thought it was a GREAT idea!! So be one of the first to comment on this and I will make you something- my choice! Don't worry, if you're not the first, I'll send something to everyone that comments. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:1. I make NO guarantees that you will LIKE what I make! (I can only hope)2. What I create will be just for you.3. It WILL be done this year.4. You have no CLUE what it’s going to be … it may be cards, a bookmark, something delicious or a complete surprise to you (and me!) … who knows?5. Most importantly, you MUST offer the same deal on your blog - the first 3 people to comment on your blog get something made by YOU! (you may surprise even yourself how creative you can be when the pressure is on)Thanks for the idea Steph! Hope you don't mind me copying you!! :)
